Research topics
My research contentrates on the mathematical modelling and numerical simulation
of linear nad nonlinear problems for nonhomogeneous materials and structures, including shape memory materials and high performance concrete, using the concepts of multiscale and adaptive modelling.
The mathematical models in the context of pseudoelasticity, plasticity, damage mechanics, or unilateral contact
are formulated in a weak form of
variational inequalities, which after FE approximations
are solved by computer methods.
